In 2016 BCI will mark its 25th anniversary of excellence in the industry. To show just some of the success the company has achieved over the past 25 years we have asked Max Perry of Wandong Bus & Coach to provide us with an external opinion of the organisation.
Max Perry has been involved in the bus industry since the late 1990’s, and he is the first driver of the first Victorian BCI bus body. In 2003, Max bought out Euan Berryman to start his own business taking the BCI bus with him.
Today, Wandong Bus & Coach now boasts a fleet of 12 vehicles (5 being BCI), and that first BCI continues to run in the fleet today. Impressively, the vehicle has approx. 398,00kms on the odometer and the only cent they have spent on it was replacing the clutch. “The longevity of the BCI product is appealing.” Max states.
With a few Classmaster school buses in his yard, the latest model Max bought was a delivery of a 56-seat 3-axle Explorer coach in recent years.
When Max visited the new BCI dealership in Melbourne, he says he observed firsthand how BCI after sales guys take on board what operators expect. “When you stop getting service from an organisation, it’s time to move on. Instead of telling us what we want, they ask us ‘what do you want?” says Max.
Max Perry is one of BCI’s many satisfied customers, who believes BCI has gone from strength to strength over the past two decades.
